Founder: Brenda Schwery
Brenda Schwery has been in the cleaning industry for 20 years. She currently owns and operates Maid To Please Inc. in Lincoln, NE. Brenda has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln and has held numerous positions in the non-profit sector. She served as Director of Donor Recruitment for blood banks in Iowa and Nebraska. She also worked for United Cerebral Palsy and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She has served on boards for several non-profits such as the Association for Donor Recruitment Professionals, Cleaning For A Reason Past President and board member for CASA(Court Appointed Special Advocates).
President: Debbie Messineo-Washington
Debbie Messineo-Washington is a realtor with Home Real Estate. Debbie has had vast experience in volunteering for non-profit organizations. She has been involved with Friends of the Children’s Museum, Clyde Malone Center, and Junior League of Lincoln and currently serves as secretary on the board for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).
Vice President: LuAnn Dougherty
LuAnn Dougherty is a Technical Project Administer for Gallup Inc. Her responsibilities include leading Gallup technology projects from initial design through development, testing and implementation. LuAnn received her degree from Wesleyan University. LuAnn’s non-profit experience includes founding member and past president of the Porter Ridge Neighborhood Association, committee chair of the Teacher and Staff Appreciation for St. Peter’s School and past president of a woman’s group through her church. She has worked on major fundraising events for her church as well as serving on the committee for a local fundraising event Golfing For A Reason.
Treasurer: Dawn Rockey
Dawn Rockey is a graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs. She currently holds the position of Executive Director for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Lancaster County. Dawn has a background in state government and commercial banking. She worked for the state of Nebraska for 12 years, in both the legislative and executive branches, serving as Nebraska State Treasurer. She spent 12 years with First National Bank of Omaha in several commercial banking-related positions and as a Second Vice President in Treasury Services. Dawn is a Certified Treasury Professional.
Secretary: Teresa Stogdill
Teresa Stogdill is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Recreation Education emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. She is currently Administrator for the Division of Health and Human Service Development Disabilities Division. Teresa has over 30 years of experience working for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. She has worked for state, private and non-profit organizations in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and Nebraska. Teresa has volunteer experience with Special Olympics, Top Soccer and Cornhusker State Games. Teresa’s mother and sister are breast cancer survivors.
Board Member: Larry Svec
Larry Svec is the owner of an ad Specialty Company called Infinity Promotions. Prior to owning his own business Larry worked for Information Technology (now Fiserv) and American Charter. He received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Larry currently serves on the board for Dreams Unlimited and coached youth baseball teams for 14 years. He also has been a committee member for the local fundraising event Golfing For A Reason.
Board Member: Angie Schueth
Angie Schueth is a graduate from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Human Development. She worked for Allied insurance for 10 years as a Personal Lines Underwriter. She is currently involved in volunteering for several organizations. She is a Road to Recovery Driver through the American Cancer Society which is something she is very passionate about. She also spends time working with children as an Impact Reader through City Impact. Along with these she volunteers at Bryan Hospital in the emergency room and helping with gardening and harvesting at Community Crops.
